National Archives Museum
Online

Thursday, April 16, 2020 - 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Students in grades 3-4 are invited to learn about the importance of rights and ponder what the world would look like without them. Focusing on the First Amendment, students will analyze primary sources to identify the appropriate freedom(s) of the five freedoms represented.

Free registration also includes the program "Slavery at The Hermitage" at 12:45 PM EST from Andrew Jackson's Hermitage.

This program is part of the Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration's menu of free webinars for interactive learning at home. Museums, science centers, art galleries, zoos, aquariums, musicians, authors, and more are providing home-bound students in grades K-6 with educational content that is fun, interactive, and professionally delivered. All programs are free-of-charge and in webinar format.  Most of the programs will be recorded so that students
can access them at any time after the live program. See the full schedule.

All events listed in the calendar are free unless noted.
